AI Adoption Engineer
Admicom is a SaaS company that digitizes the building and construction ecosystem, helping businesses operate more efficiently in a sector undergoing rapid transformation. Founded in Finland and listed on the First North Helsinki stock exchange, we combine deep industry expertise with scalable digital solutions.
We are now looking for an AI Adoption Engineer to join our new AI-native Product Development Team.
In this role, you will help our entire product development organization leverage AI more effectively as part of everyday product development. Your work will focus on building new ways of working, tools, and practices, and driving their adoption across development teams and product managers.
Your impact will be broad. You will actively follow the evolution of AI technologies, evaluate emerging tools, and build practices that enable our product managers and development teams to work faster, with higher quality, and greater impact. You will play a key role in shaping what AI-native software development looks like at Admicom in the future.
AI Adoption Engineer
As an AI Adoption Engineer, you will build AI capabilities across the entire product development organization and influence how software development is done at Admicom in the future.
The core of the role is to build AI capability across the organization rather than implement individual AI features. Your primary focus is not building AI-powered product features, but increasing the organization's ability to use AI effectively, responsibly, and in alignment with business goals.
You actively follow developments in AI tools, agents, and large language model (LLM) technologies, evaluating which solutions create the greatest value for product development. You experiment with new technologies hands-on, build reusable templates and workflows, and help people adopt them in their daily work. You act as a coach, sparring partner, and guide who helps others succeed.
You will help build AI-native product development by working with product managers and teams to define how AI is integrated into different stages of the development lifecycle, from discovery and specification to implementation, testing, and maintenance. You will develop and maintain AI-native Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) practices that enable effective AI adoption across the organization.
You will monitor AI usage, impact, and costs, continuously improving practices based on data. You will make AI impact visible through metrics, analytics, and practical examples while ensuring AI is used cost-effectively and in support of business objectives. In addition, you will help develop standards, governance practices, and operating models related to AI usage in collaboration with other stakeholders.
You will work closely with product managers, development teams, architects, and other stakeholders. Your success will be reflected in how effectively the entire product development organization can deliver customer value faster.
AI-native Product Development Team
The AI-native Product Development Team is a new team whose mission is to help the entire product development organization leverage AI more effectively and transform Admicom’s product and software development into an AI-native organization.
The team does not build product features. It builds organizational capabilities that enable other teams to create customer value faster and with higher quality through AI.
As this is a new team, you will have a significant opportunity to influence its ways of working, practices, and priorities from the very beginning. The team's mission is to explore, experiment with, and scale AI practices across the product development organization, while helping product managers and teams adopt new tools and operating models that generate measurable value in their daily work.
At the same time, you will help define what the AI-native Product Development Team looks like and how it creates impact at Admicom in the future.
What We Expect From You
You have strong hands-on experience using AI tools and agents, along with a genuine passion for following the rapid evolution of AI, continuously learning, and finding practical ways to apply new opportunities in product development.
You understand how software is built in modern development organizations and have experience in software development, as well as an understanding of how product managers and development teams operate day-to-day. You are curious about emerging technologies but also capable of evaluating them critically from a business perspective.
We especially value:
Strong practical understanding of AI tools and the LLM ecosystem, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or Gemini
The ability to turn technical knowledge into clear recommendations, operating models, and best practices
Experience with prompt engineering or building AI integrations
Experience with software development lifecycle practices, including PDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps
Experience in change management or organizational development
Understanding of AI cost management and FinOps principles
Understanding of AI security, compliance, and governance considerations
You will thrive in this role if you enjoy discovering new opportunities and turning them into practical outcomes together with others. You gain energy from helping others succeed and are motivated by seeing new ways of working become part of everyday development practices.
You know how to build strong collaboration across stakeholder groups, communicate clearly, and bring people along through change.
You work proactively and drive initiatives forward even when there are no predefined answers. You combine curiosity with pragmatism. You are willing to experiment boldly while also being able to evaluate the real value and impact of new solutions.
We also expect you to be fluent in English. Finnish language skills are not required.
